Today we began racing at the 2010 Kieler Woche Regatta, the 6th leg of the ISAF Sailing World Cup. There was a cold wind blowing, and the rain came through the course intermittently, but overall, it was a great day of sailing.

After a sunny, warm start to our trip, the weather turned chilly and windy today here in Kiel for the official practice day for Kiel Week, the 6th leg of the ISAF Sailing World Cup. Despite the chilly, windy weather, the sun was out for most of the day which made for a great sailing day.

We have just finished a four day training camp at the Chicago Match Race Center as our warm up training for the 6th stop on the ISAF Sailing World Cup, Kiel Week, in Kiel, Germany.

Bronze At The BoatU.S. Santa Maria Cup

The final day of racing concluded today at the Boat US Santa Maria Cup and Team Tunnicliffe came home with a bronze medal after winning the petit-finals 2-0 over Sally Barkow. The finals were fought between Genny Tulloch and France's Claire Leroy. Claire came out on top after defeating Genny 3-2 to defend her title from last year.

We ended the day 1-1 against France's Claire Leroy in the semi final match up, after earlier advancing into the semi's seeded second in the round robin with a 16-2 record.

Great Racing On The Chesapeake, Day 2: Boat US Santa Maria Cup

It was another hot day on the Chesapeake today for the second day of racing at the Boat US Santa Maria Cup. Our team finished today with a 10-1 record to be on top at the end of the day. Right behind us are Sally Barkow and Genny Tulloch from the USA and Claire Leroy from France.
