Another Even Day In Calpe (Day 2)
May 6, 2010
Calpe, Spain
It was a beautiful day for sailing today and Team Tunnicliffe ended the day with a 5-5 record. We finished the round robin today in 6th, in a 8-12kt sea breeze that gave the fleet shifty conditions and kept the racing close. Tomorrow, we will start the quarter-finals against Spain's Cameselle in a first-to-three points round.

Setting Up For Windward Mark Rounding
Calpe, Spain, And The Hike Up 'The Rock"
May 4, 2010
Calpe, Spain
Team Tunnicliffe arrived in Calpe, Spain three days ago in preparation for our next event, the XII International Women's Match Race Criterium. We also added two members to the team, Liz Bower, our fourth, and new addition, Mary Rook from Great Britain. Today is our second day of practice in the Tom 28's, a boat that seems quite big after spending the last two months in the Elliot 6m. But the girls up front are very good and have figured out how to handle the boat already.

Hyeres, France
We finished the Semaine Olympique Francaise regatta with a silver medal. We lost the finals to Silke Hahlbrock from Germany 1-3. However, coming out of the finals in second, moved us up to first in the overall ISAF World Cup rankings.
