August 28, 2010
Manhasset Bay, NY

It was a heart breaker of a race for us in race 5 of the quaterfinals against William Tiller from New Zealand at the Knickerbocker. We lost the race by inches and were eliminated from the regatta finishing 5th overall.

Gearing Up For The Quarterfinals In The Knickerbocker Cup 2010

August 27, 2010
Manhasset Bay, NY

We wrapped up racing in the round robin today at the Knickerbocker Cup finishing 4th.  We finished the day early and then waited for everyone else to finish up racing before we entered into the quaterfinals round.  The quarterfinalists were not announced initially, as it was undecided as to whether the round was going to be a 6- or 8-team quarterfinal.  By the end of the round robin, the race committee decided that it would be an 8-team knockout quarterfinals.  This meant that we are paired up against the number 5 seed, William Tiller from New Zealand.

Everything To Sail For Tomorrow, Detroit Cup 2010

August 21, 2010
Detroit, MI

With rainy skies and fickle breeze, only the last three flights of the round robin were completed today at the Toyota International Match Race for the Detroit Cup.  Because of this, our team could only sit and watch and hope for the right people to win races to secure us a high enough ranking at the end of the round robin.

Bronze In Weymouth; Next, To Defend The Detroit Cup

August 16, 2010
Ft. Lauderdale,FL

Team Tunnicliffe arrived home yesterday evening from the UK having won the Bronze medal at the Skandia Sail  For Gold regatta.  I apologize for the short report immediately following the regatta, but it was a bit of a run around with not much time.  We had to clean our rental house, pack up our Elliotts into our team shed, then drive to London and fly back to the US.
